Pressure equipment must meet specific requirements
In pharmaceutical, food and chemical plants safety is guaranteed by careful periodic checks of machinery and equipment.
In particular, much attention is paid to all pressure vessels, as they are subject to operating conditions very critical.
The checks on pressure vessels must be conducted by qualified employees, who can assess the conditions of pressure vessels and determine whether or not the equipment can remain part of the production cycle or whether they should instead be reclassified by revamping.
During inspections on pressure vessels equipment are tested to test their ability to withstand the pressures provided by the production cycle in which they operate.
