The industrial reactors design
The characteristics of the reactor is based on industrial processes must manage
Reactors in chemical engineering can be defined as containers for chemical reactions. THERE ARE 2 DIFFERENT TYPES OF REACTORS
The construction of reactors for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries is a very complex process: the design is also important to maximize the yield of product (ouput) of the reaction that you want to lead.
During the design of reactors must ensure that the reaction proceeds with maximum efficiency or that produces a high yield with the least amount of energy and raw materials.
The construction of reactors for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries must begin with some key information about the components of the reaction that the reactor will contain:
• Volume
• Temperature
• Pressure
• Concentration
• Specific heat
The reactors for chemical reactions must be equipped with devices that allow the cooling or heating of the contents because some reactions are exothermic (heat produced) and other endothermic (absorbs heat).
• reactors with cooling/hetaing coil inside
• reactors with cooling / heating jacket located outside
