Construction of an AISI 316L Reactor with External Half-Pipe Coil and Central Agitator
Reactor Main Features

The upper head is connected to the main body by flat flanges type 01/B and assembled with tie rods and nuts.
The gasket between the two flanges, as well as the other gaskets, is suitable for contact with ethyl acetate.
The half-pipe coil on the main body is connected to the half-pipe of the upper head by means of a removable joint, allowing independent management of the two circuits.

No. 1 DN500 manway complete with flange pair, handle, spring-assisted opening device, and DN100 sight glass. Coupling ensured by hinged eye-bolt tie rods.

AGITATOR
Agitation Unit Composed of:
- No. 1 self-ventilated electric motor complete with PTC, ATEX IIB T4 execution, 15 kW, 4 poles, 1450 RPM, with frequency variation from 10 to 50 Hz
- No. 1 angular gearbox designed to achieve 68 RPM shaft rotation
- No. 1 double mechanical seal, flushed type (Fluiten)
- Back-pressure vessel for barrier fluid complete with fluid connection, sight glass, and connections for PT100 and level switch
- The agitation system is designed to allow replacement of the seal cartridge via spacer coupling without removing the motor-gearbox-lantern assembly and without removing the internal shaft section.
- The shaft is fitted with a wear sleeve at the lower end, inserted into the bottom guide bushing.
- The lower blade is a semi-anchor type with boxed triangular section, two arms bolted in two halves onto the shaft. Its configuration pushes the product upward.
- Two intermediate blades, also with triangular section, bolted in two halves at adjustable height on the shaft. Their configuration pushes the product downward.
