History
“Pilotta” was founded in post-war Milan in 1949 by Angelo Pilotta. Located in the Bovisa industrial district, it took its first steps by collaborating with nearby companies such as Fernet Branca on Viale Jenner and Carlo Erba in Piazzale Maciachini.
Initially specializing in the manufacture of copper and iron equipment, the company later continued its evolution by focusing its production on stainless steel, duplex steels, nickel, and its alloys such as Hastelloy.
In the early 1970s, the company was taken over by his son Carlo, who in 1975 changed its legal status and converted it into a limited liability company (S.r.l.).
From 1949 to the present day, our story continues with the new generations, building on the presence and experience gained over more than 70 years of work in the design and construction of equipment and plants.
We manufacture tailor-made machinery designed to meet the customer’s specific requirements.
