The checks on pressure vessels must be conducted by qualified employees, who can assess the conditions of pressure vessels and determine whether or not the equipment can remain part of the production cycle or whether they should instead be reclassified by revamping.

Each pressure vessel is subjected to:
-a hydraulic test,
-penetrant liquid inspection;
-thickness measurement test,
-a thorough visual and dimensional inspection.
Monitoring the condition of the systems is absolutely essential: a non-compliant pressure vessel can cause serious accidents and very long production downtimes with significant economic costs.
